Winter Empties part1

 Hi! I have a lot of empties to show that's why I will divide the into 2 parts.

SAKURA BATH BOMB-LUSH

I really like this scent but in the bath it didn’t last more than 15 minutes . It wasn’t strong and it didn’t stay on my skin. 

Would I buy this again? No. Sorry Lush but I need something stronger in my bath ritual.

CLINIQUE- ALMOST POWDER MAKEUP IN 03 Light

Yes! A makeup item! I had this for more than 2 years.  This is very good product with spf 15. I really enjoyed it but now I am ready for something else.

Would I buy this again? No. This was the second time I bought this and now I use the loose powder from Clinique which I like better.

LATHERS AND LIGHTS TRIPLE SUGAR SCRUB (the big one)

I love these scrubs  and the scents! It’s scrubby , it rinses clean and my skin doesn’t feel dry after using it. I wish I had 100 tubs stock lol.

Would I buy this again? Definitely. Even the same scents. Other products too,  mainly in Warlock and Little Shop in Terror. 

FRESH LINE SAMPLE IN ATHENA REPLENISHING AND ANTIOXIDANTE DAY CREAM

I love Fresh line but their skincare doesn’t always suit me. Their line for combination skin isn’t enough for my skin and after using it I felt dry. This one was better.

Would I buy this again? I don’t know. Maybe I will ask for another sample.

NUXE CRÈME FRAICHE DAY CREAM AND SERUM

I really liked this combination serum and day cream.  I will post a detailed review soon!

Would I buy this again? I already did (both!) but I chose the day cream for normal skin instead the light one  because the one for oily to combination felt dry.

COCOA PINK GLISSADE IN NAUGHTY PUMPKIN

I am a huge fun of Cocoa Pink’s pumpkin scents. Naughty Pumpkin is not an exception.  Glissade  it’s s silicone free anti- frizz styling product. Actually, I prefer the Anti-frizz serum but this is quite good too.

Would I buy this again? Maybe. I bought Anti-frizz recently and given the time that it takes me to finish a product like this ( I don’t use styling products every day maybe once a week and just a tiny amount) I don’t think it would be soon.

AVON COMPLETE BALANCE DAY AND NIGHT CREAM (only the night cream in the pic)

I have tried a lot of Avon’s skincare and the majority of them is pretty good. You can buy them a lot of time in discount or you pay the day cream and they give you the nighhtcream for free etc. I have bought the balance set a couple of time and it’s your standard day cream, it moisturizes enough and has spf as well. The night cream is in a gel form and when you put this on it feels like water. I don’t like the night cream now. At first I did but I want to try something else.

Would I buy this again? No, but I recommend this set for people from 18 to 25. It works great for men too!

Autumn empties post!!!!

I am so sorry for the lack of new posts. I am really enjoying reading your blogs thought!

This is had I have finished up this Autumn.

1) Aussi- 3 Minute Miracle Hair Treatment

I got this because I wanted to know what all the fuzz was about with Aussi.

After using this my hair was great and soft but I don't think I will ever re-buy it because the ingredients are not all natural or at least up to 80% like Cocoa Pink and Lather and Lights.

I didn't like the scent either it was like bubblegum.

2)Korres conditioner for dry hair with Almond and Linseed 92.5% Natural.

I really liked this and had nice effects on my hair. The consistency was like a body lotion not very thick but does the job and it moisturizes well. After some uses the bottle and not the product had a weird scent sometimes. Maybe, it's my idea but I don't think I will repurchase this. I am not sure. It was just the bottle but still it annoyed me

3) HoG Pumpkin Butter in Milkmaid

I kind of missing this. I was using this before I get asleep and it was calming and fresh smelling at the same time.

Milk Maid: Flushed, but demure. Fresh milk, clean linens, pale musk and pink sweet pea blossom.

3) You Know I love Appivita's products this was a  rich face cream( at least for my combination  skin type) in a light consistency. I used it as a night cream. I highly recommend the Acqua Vita line if you are under thirty!

4) Vanilla Snaps This is a body and hair spray from a now closed company Crater Lake Company. I am so sad that she is closed. This scent is so damn good! 

Spicy, sweet and enough different from the usual spicy vanilla scents so it doesn't become boring. 

I use this as as a hair spray to detangled my hair and it works wonders. I have some bottles in my stash in other scent but I know when they will be used up I won't be able to get more...

5) Cocoa Pink body oil in Mad Hatter Cookies Noel – Almondy sweet mad hatter, sugar cookies, marshmallow frosting, and Vanilla Bean Noel.

This was super Yummy! If you love almond foodie scents you have to try it.

After using this the scents stayed for eever on my skin and on my clothes! It is a little bit oily but I plefer this kind of body oils than a dry oil which I can't stand.

6) L&L body butter in Ice Princess

Thick and very moisturising body butter. With this a little goes a long way.

I love L&L Snow scents and this is not an exception. 

Ice Princess: Soft pillowy marshmallow blends with touches of cotton candy, caramel, and sugar with a blast of cool mint.

It's exactly how it's description implies sweet caramel cotton candy and strong mint. I love it and I used up a conditioner in that scent as well

  7) Another company that is currently closed. This was a thick body butter. A little bit heavy but perfect for winter. The scent Beach Bunny it's a tropical coconut with cotton candy. Super sweet and Yummy

8) BPTP Bittersweet Chocolate decant.

9) Crater Lake Company body oil in Wistful: pear blossom, lavender, wildflowers and grass

I love Wistfull is so fresh and clean. Not the typical Lavender scent. The pear blossom note is lovely and it has nothing to do with the pear fruit. Too bad I can't buy more..

10) The three layer foaming scrubs from L&L are some of my favorites. I wish had some money left to buy more

12) Honey and Jojoba conditioner in Flannel Pajamas. The ultimate  comfort scent!

13) Soft and Shine Shampoo in Mint Angel.

Fluffy angel food cake drizzled with sugar, vanilla, and crushed peppermint candies. 

This was very minty with a touch of sweetness. Perfect for shampoo or why not a scrub

14) Last but not least my staple Apivita Shampoo!

MAY-JUNE EMPTIES POST!

1)      Appivita shampoo samples.

 I love appivita shampoos as I have stated before. The lavender one is my favorite. High quality shampoos guys, if you are looking for a good shampoo I highly recommend them

2)      Haus of Gloi sugar exfoliants in Odette and in Hearth.

I really liked both of them and I love HoG scrubs in general but I will choose a different scent next time.

      3)   Haus of Gloi pumpkin butter in Sweet Potato pie.

I have talked about these products in my HoG collection post.

      4) Make me Smooth She She Poo and She she Dish( Shampoo and Conditioner)                            in Bathing beauty scent.

I love the scent but I hated the products. They made my hair very dry and not easy to detangle afterwards. I am glad I finally finished them!

      5)MMS Layers body cream in Black Sphinx.

I love the scent and I have review it here. The body cream is really nice as well. It lasted on my skin for 24h no Joke!

     6) Avon Anew eye cream.

This is the eye cream I am using. It’s very nice nothing spectacular but it does the job!

It is divided in two parts one for the day with SPF and one for the night.

7) Korres face mask.

8) Avene Gentle purifying scrub sample.

I am thinking of buying a full size of this in the future. It is really gentle and my skin is so sensitive that I can’t handle well other scrubs. So this is a Winner!

9) L&L Tahitian Treasure Shampoo.

This works well as the other shampoos from L&L. It is lightly scented and it doesn’t foam as much but if you buy am all natural product you expect it. I don’t think I will buy it again as I prefer the other shampoos that she has. I love to pick different scents from her scent menu!

10)Honey and Jojoba Conditioner in Pumpkin Peeps

Mmmm this is delicious smelling! Sweet and lightly spiced.

I need more stuff in this scent.

11)Olive and Honey shampoo in White pumpkin

I love this too. It’s similar to the Pumpkin peeps scent.

The combination made my hair smelling incredible!

12) Cocoa Pink Argan therapy conditioner in Smashed pumpkins.

Guys this scent is to die for! I need to stock up with products in this scent!

It’s hard to wait until Halloween..

The product is great to and it works on my hair like a charmL

13) Mini Sorbettos from the paintbox soapworks company!

The consistency of this scrub is great. Scrubby and foamy and thick. Definitely I am going to buy more from her!

The scents:

 Punkie night: Frothy steamed pumpkin milk spiked with rowdy cloves, jittery black tea & a rasp of cinnamon bark

This one is heavy on the black tea and the spicies. Yummy and different from the majority of pumpkin scents.

Indian Summer:Golden amber & heaps of freshly mown hay strewn with windfall peaches & the last of the summer’s blackberries.

I thought that this would be my least favorite but it’s the perfect scent for a scrub. It’s fresh smelling and it layers well with other scents. I really enjoy it mainly at the mornings

Guy Fawkes:Penny for the Guy! Sticky parkin & roasted apples washed down with a bottle of oatmeal stout, a waft of smoke & a shower of sparks on the night air.
This remind me of HoG Hearth but smokier. I don’t get the stout so much but it’s a nice apple scent.

14) L&L body yogurt in Honeyed  Pumpkin.
This is like a combination of Honey I washed the kids with pumpkin. Very nice scent. Sweet and girly.
15) L&L Body lotion in Vampire kiss
Black Plum, raspberry, vanilla, peony, amber, musk and spun sugar

Wow this was very sugary, Even stranger commented that I was smelling sweet, Sugar and plum are the main notes of this blend. I liked it.

16) L&L Triple twist sugar scrub sample
I love her winter scents and I have several in full size products. Tis was very convenient for travelling.

17) Flutterby beauty Spellbound Silky body oil.
Another company who is closed. This body oil is a combination of dry oils and moisturising ones and I really like it as a post shower moisturiser when I am in a hurry. The scent lasts all day too. I still have some bottles left..
This one was an Amber and white flowers. It went well with a lot of my perfume oils.

18) Crater Lake Company sugar fluff in visions of Sugar plum

The scent: vanilla, treacle, brown sugar, oat flour, white spices, roasted chestnut and icing.
I am in love with this and I have only the body cream left… Goes very well with Bordello from Bpal. I am wear this together and I am in heaven!!!!!

My February empties!

1)  Korres- POMEGRANATE

MOISTURISING CREAM-GEL

For oily to combination skin , 16ml

This was included in a sample set with other products in the pomegranate range. I really like this. It’s a light enough for combination skin like mine but it doesn’t dry out mu skin. It hasn’t spf  in it and I used it as a night cream or when I stayed at home all day!

2) Cocoa pink- Voluptuous body butter in Tihota type 2.75oz

I love this moisturizer! It’s not greasy but it sinks in fast. Perfect for winter and for dry legs!

The scent is light but it stays all day on my skin. It’s like a slightly toast vanilla.

It worked well with most of my perfumes too!

3) Bptp bath oil  decant 1oz- L'EAU DE L'ENGOUEMENT

4) Apivita- Purifying Tonic Lotion for Oily/Combination Skin with propolis and citrus.

I love this lotion and I have already bought another one!

5) Flutterby beauty scrub in Lavender mint cupcake.

 Flutterby beauty was one of the companies that I was a regural customer in the past and I was so sad when she closed! I think this is the negative aspect to homemade products. Often the decide to close without notice…

This scent is lovely and I still have a little bit left from the perfume mist and the body oil.

6) Lathers and Lights Wicked Witch sugar scrub.

This is a spicy apple scent.

The scrub itself it’s moisturising without leaving an oily film to the skin.

It’s dense and scrubby. Very good!

7) Apivita- Anti-aging and energising shampoo with citrus and honey.

I liked this shampoo but I prefer others from their range. This one has SLS in it which I try to avoid as it is bad for the hair and I have noticed that I have healthier hair from the moment that I stopped using this ingredient.

8) Apivita tonic lotion with mastic and rose 1.7 oz

This one was a freebie with an order. I didn’t like it at all. It smell bad and it didn’t do anything to my skin.

9) RENE FURTERER- moisturising milk shampoo

This one was a sample too. I really like it. It felt so good in my hair but this also has SLS.

In addition to the "bad" ingredient it also has: safflower oil, carthamus oil, soybean oil, sweet orange oil etc So, maybe the SLS balances with all the beneficial ingredients. Who knows?

Eskimo Kiss-Lathers and Lights

BEFORE I SMELL: I love mint or spearmint combined with creamy notes! It started as a scent combo for my hair care products but I loved it so much I thought why not to buy a minty perfume?

FROM THE DECANT/BOTTLE: Sugar and spearmint

WET ON SKIN: The spearmint is strong!  It reminds me spearmint tea a little bit!

DRY DOWN: The spearmint note calms down a little bit. The sweetness from the cotton candy and the sugar comes through and it’s wonderful…

FINAL THOUGHTS It’s simple but lovely. I have the body cream and scrub for layering proposes…! If you like Spearmint is a must have!

My first empties post!

I’ ve seen a lot of bloggers and youtubers making post like this and I’ve always enjoy watching them. So, I thought to make one too! In December I didn’t finish so many products but here are the ones I did!

1)      Avon, complete balance oil-free foaming cleanser

I really like this product and it’s the second bottle I finish. It’s not a miracle product but it does the job!

It’s a foaming cleanser so it’s super easy to use and removes all the dirt from my face.

To be franc, I am using all the other products for this range. The day cream and the night cream. If you have a combination skin type I definitely recommend these products. They are cheap and they work. At least for me!

2)      Apivita, Shampoo for oily hair with propolis and rosemary.

I love Apivita. It’s one of my favorite companies! Sometimes, when I run out from my indie shampoo and conditioners I buy from them. It’s nice to have a local brand you trust. Isn’t it?

This one is made with 97% natural ingredients. It’s not harsh with the hair at all. I have oily roots sometime and this totally helps! I don’t have a major problem thought so I can’t comment of how it perform in very oily hair. I have bought it many times, I can’t even remember…

I really like the scent too. It’s a bergamot and rosemary scent. It doesn’t stay on my hair but I use scented conditioners.

If you haven’t tried Apivita shampoos you are missing big time!

3)      Lathers and Lights, Pumpkin harvest sugar scrub

I bought the pumpkin set this Halloween and this was included. Sea butter, pumpkinseed oil and extract, sunflower oil and cocoa butter are some of the ingredients she used. This is a moisturizing scrub and feels very good to the skin.

The notes of the scent were: Pumpkin, earth ,mist. I don’t get  earthy notes just pumpkin.

I really liked the scrub formula but I like other scents of hers best.

4)      Shine+ in Black Vanilla

This was a very generous sample from my Halloween order. I really liked the product and the scent! I love her black scents in general. I think that her black is a mixture of ambers. I got a lot of compliments when I wore this conditioner too!

5)      Lathers and Lights, Pumpkin Noel Body Cream

Another item from my Halloween sample set!  This has aloe vera, pumpkin seed  oil and kokum butter among other ingredients. I really like the texture of this! It moisturized my body very well! I used it after the pumpkin scrub. Then I used my marshmallow Pumpkin body oil from Coacoa Pink and then this. The scent it;s light but after all these products I smelled edible! Of course I have a pumpkin perfume to go with all these! Pumpkin Peeps from Possets!
