ΕΝΑ ΣΑΠΟΥΝΙ ΓΙΑ ΤΟ ΠΡΟΣΩΠΟ!

Όταν ξεκίνησα να φτιάχνω σαπούνια η πρώτη ερώτηση που μου έκαναν όλοι ήταν

-Έχετε κάποιο για το πρόσωπο?

Όμως εγώ δεν είχα φτιάξει κάποιο αποκλειστικά για αυτή τη χρήση και απαντούσα αρνητικά.  Οι πελάτες-φίλοι μου όμως παρά την αποτροπή μου συνέχιζαν να χρησιμοποιούν τα σαπούνια μου για το σώμα στο πρόσωπο τους και ιδιαίτερα αυτά που ήταν φτιαγμένα με γάλα και μέλι και πάντα έμεναν πολύ ευχαριστημένοι!

Έτσι αποφάσισα να φτιάξω ένα σαπούνι αποκλειστικά για χρήση στο πρόσωπο!

Η δημιουργία της συνταγής για τα ποσοστά των ελαίων που θα χρησιμοποιούσα μου ήταν ιδιαιτέρως ευχάριστη γιατί δεν ήταν ο σκοπός μου ένα σαπούνι σκληρό και πολύ αφρώδες όπως αυτά που προορίζονται για το σώμα αλλά ένα σαπούνι ήπιο με μαλακτικές ιδιότητες  αλλά παράλληλα που να αφαιρεί τους ρύπους και τα μαύρα στίγματα.

Στη συνταγή μου αντικατέστησα αποκλειστικά το νερό με γάλα, μέλι και μπανάνες! Και μιλάμε για φρέσκα προϊόντα όχι σκόνες και άλλα παρόμοια.

Το γάλα έχει μαλακτικές ιδιότητες και μαζί με τη προσθήκη μελιού μας δίνει ένα σαπούνι ήπιο που θρέφει και αναδομεί το δέρμα. Ένα σαπούνι που καθαρίζει χωρίς να ξηραίνει το δέρμα.

Οι μπανάνες ήταν μια ιδέα της στιγμής μα σίγουρα αποτελούν το υλικό που κάνει το σαπούνι τόσο ξεχωριστό και αγαπητό.

Περιέχουν φυσικά αντιοξειδωτικά, ζάχαρα και βιταμίνες. Επίσης συντελούν στην εξομάλυνση του ίδιου του σαπουνιού. Βοηθούν επίσης στην απομάκρυνση των μαύρων πόρων!

Αυτό το σαπούνι ως αποτέλεσμα όλων των συστατικών του: Υψηλό ποσοστό ελαιολάδου, βούτυρο καριτέ, λάδι κα είναι λίγο πιο μαλακά από τα άλλα και το φτιάχνω γι’ αυτό το λόγο λίγο μικρότερο. Βολεύει έτσι καλύτερα και στη χρήση!

Για να το αρωματίσω χρησιμοποιώ Αιθέρια έλαια Τεϊόδεντρου και λεβάντας.

Το τεϊόδεντρο είναι γνωστό για τις αντιμικροβιακές του ιδιότητες  καθώς και στην εξισορρόπηση των σμηγμάτων του μεικτού δέρματος.

Η λεβάντα καταπραΰνει και μαλακώνει το δέρμα αλλά παρουσιάζει αντιβακτηριακή και αντισηπτική δράση.

Crater Lake Company-Tahi-Tea

OFFICIAL DESCRIPTION: Paradise found! A tantalizing blend of strong black tea and delicate white tea poured over ice and sweetened with mango and papaya nectar. This fragrance is seductive and enthralling without even trying, as soft whispers of plumeria and honeysuckle emerge in the dry down.

BEFORE I SMELL:  Crater Lake Company was one of the first companies I tried and I was a Fun girl for more than 3 years. I still am actually but Sharonn the owner seems to be disappeared and the site doesn’t take orders anymore… I am so sad about this as her products were staples in my bathroom especially the scrubs, lotion and hair conditioner.

Her Tea scents were incredible! Light and refreshing. I wish I could still shop from her..

FROM THE DECANT/BOTTLE: Sweet jasmine tea and juicy fruity notes of papaya and mango!

WET ON SKIN: The plumeria is a little bit bubblegum-y here but it goes so well with the tea and the fruity notes that I really like it!

DRY DOWN: Fruity-Floral but no long lasting. It faded after 3-4 hours but it comes in a roll on so it’s very easy to reapply. A summer staple!

The Wild Swans At Coole-bpal

PERFUME: The Wild Swans At Coole

COMPANY: BPAL

OFFICIAL DESCRIPTION: October twilight. Falling leaves breaking the stillness of cool water, with sweet autumn clematis, feather-soft orris root, luminous white chypre, and muguet.

BEFORE I SMELL: This is like a trip in memory lane as it was in the group of the first decants I had ever ordered!  I chose this because I love Yeats…

If I remember correctly the other decants were: Boo, Sugar Skull, All Saints and Nothing Gold Can Stay.

FROM THE DECANT/BOTTLE:  A  leafy aquatic.

WET ON SKIN: Muguet is the strongest note. Also reminds me a laundry detergent.

DRY DOWN: It doesn’t develop much. It’s a very clean aquatic scent. It’s nice for when it so hot and you have to take the bus but I don’t need to buy a bottle.

Longetivity: 4hours+

FINAL THOUGHTS: I will keep my decant because it recreates perfectly the atmosphere of the poem.

But now they drift on the still water,
Mysterious, beautiful;

A RHINESTONE HOUSEWIFE HAUL , NEWS and soap pics!!

Hi guys!  As you have noticed already I won’t be able to blog everyday for a couple of months more because I am moving!!! I am so happy guys:) We found a lovely apartment so, we are halfway there but still we have so many things to do. I still have everything I own in my old appartment grr... 

In other news I made my first perfume! It’s a blend of Neroli, Mimosa and Coconut and It smells so good and Summery. Initially I was making a soap with a similar blend and some people asked for the perfume so Voila! 

Now to the fun stuff!

This is an order I made recently from the Rhinestone housewife. I highly recommend her site as she was so kind, generous and friendly with me! I ordered while she was having a special in shipping so I paid only 10usd for flat rate+ insurance. I have to ask her if she does first class as well because some times is cheaper for us internationals perfume addicts!

I ordered the Arcana bottles and everything else were the freebies!

I am very please with my order and I am definitely going to buy from her again!

ARCANA- Chicanery and Chimeras

PERFUME:  Chicanery and Chimeras

OFFICIAL DESCRIPTION: The other side of the Knight of Cups. Delusions, hallucinations, phantasms, and nightmares. Empty blessings and beautiful curses.

Rich benzoin over a base of Madagascar vanilla, golden amber, salt water, clove, sweet musk, pumpkin, patchouli, and sugarcane.

BEFORE I SMELL: I admit it, I bought this because someone was selling it really cheap on Livejournal! I can’t resist a bargain especially if it’s a good smelling one!

FROM THE DECANT/BOTTLE: When I smell this from the bottle I get a cologne and masculine vibe. A little bit boozy and very brown!

WET ON SKIN: It’s getting spicier; I am getting clove, all spice and nutmeg. It’s very well blended and the notes are not aggressive at all. I do get a salty note as well which is really interesting.

DRY DOWN: The cologne, masculine vibe mainly from the combination of benzoin and the clove it’s getting milder. I have to notice that in this perfume the different stages last very long and I was able to smell the base notes after half an hour or maybe more.

The wait it’s definitely worth it! Vanilla, amber and patchouli in combination with baked pumpkin! It’s not a foodie scent; it’s sophisticated and very attractive!

FINAL THOUGHTS: It took me more than a year to start liking this one but now I really like it and I am glad I bought a bottle!

Lizard Queen - Zomg smells

PERFUME: Lizard Queen

COMPANY: Zomg smells

OFFICIAL DESCRIPTION: Our scent for the lizard queen is strong flesh layered over seriously classic bones. As regal and imperious as we could manage, with teeth: neroli and bitter orange over fruitwood, touched with anise.

BEFORE I SMELL: I had never tried Zomg smells before so, I was very excited when I received this as a free sample with a livejournal purchase.

I love neroli but I have never thought that it goes well with anise.

FROM THE DECANT/BOTTLE: Anise, orange and neroli. I really like this!

WET ON SKIN: Lately, I love anise in perfumes. Here goes so well with the neroli and totally unexpected.

DRY DOWN: Neroli with a touch of orange. Smells fresh and shiny. I don’t get any wood. It has good staying power as well.

FINAL THOUGHTS: I love this one! So bad that it’s now discontinued.
